The Great Paint Shortage Crisis

Morning Mysteries
Ms. Paint Caribou stretched her hooves as sunlight streamed through the windows of Paint Tower. Her rainbow towel cape rustled softly as she moved around her apartment on the fortieth floor. The colorful paint splashes on her fingertips caught the morning light.
"What a perfect Tuesday!" she said, looking out at Tundra Meadow City below. Humanoid caribou and sheep bustled through the streets, their morning routines in full swing.
She grabbed her phone and scrolled through messages from her thirty-eight sheep girlfriends. They were all excited about Saturday night's clothing-optional celebration at Paint Tower. It was their favorite weekly tradition.
Ms. Paint Caribou opened her paint supply closet to choose colors for the day. Her smile faded. The shelves looked... different. Several paint cans were missing their usual bright shine, appearing oddly dull.
"That's weird," she muttered, picking up a can of blue paint. It felt lighter than usual.
Her superhero senses started tingling. Something wasn't right in Tundra Meadow City.
Empty Shelves
Ms. Paint Caribou flew down from Paint Tower to investigate. Her rainbow cape fluttered as she landed outside Colorful Corner, the city's biggest paint shop.
The humanoid sheep shopkeeper, Bella, stood behind the counter looking worried. Her white wool was fluffy and her blue eyes were wide with concern.
"Ms. Paint Caribou! Thank goodness you're here," Bella said. "Something terrible is happening. All my paint is losing its color!"
Ms. Paint Caribou walked to the paint display. Row after row of paint cans sat on the shelves, but they looked gray and lifeless. She picked up a can labeled "Sunshine Yellow" - it felt completely empty.
"When did this start?" Ms. Paint Caribou asked.
"This morning," Bella replied. "First the yellow disappeared, then the red, now even the blue is fading fast."
Ms. Paint Caribou's phone buzzed. Text messages flooded in from her sheep girlfriends across the city. Every paint shop was reporting the same thing.
"If this keeps up," Bella whispered, "there won't be any paint left for Saturday night's celebration!"
Ms. Paint Caribou felt her superhero senses tingling stronger than ever.
