The Missing Palette

Creator stood on the highest balcony of Creative Fortress, watching the sun paint the southern outskirts of Super City in golden light. The three black towers stretched beneath him, their blue windows gleaming like scattered sapphires. He adjusted his artist's palette cape and gripped his paintbrushes tighter.

"Another quiet morning," he muttered, scanning the fortress grounds below.

Creative Woman's voice echoed from the central courtyard. "Has anyone seen my good brushes? I swear I left them right here yesterday!"

"Mine are missing too!" called Creative Man from the east tower. His frustrated voice carried across the stone walls.

Creator frowned. Art supplies didn't just vanish. He climbed down the spiral staircase, his green and blue costume rustling softly. In the main hall, he found Creatorella pacing back and forth, her hands empty.

"This is the third day this week," she said, shaking her head. "First my charcoal pencils, now my favorite sketch pad."

Creative Side and Creatina joined them, both looking equally puzzled. Something strange was happening at Creative Fortress.

The Mysterious Delivery

Creator walked toward the main hall's window, pressing his face against the cool glass. Outside in the courtyard, he spotted something that made him blink twice.

"Everyone, come look at this!" he called.

The other artists rushed over. There, painted across the stone courtyard in brilliant blues and golds, was a massive mural of Creative Fortress itself. The artwork showed their home in perfect detail, but with tiny figures of themselves painted in the windows.

"That wasn't there yesterday," Creative Woman whispered.

Creative Man pulled out his phone and snapped photos. "This is incredible work. Look at those brush strokes!"

Creatorella knelt beside the mural's edge. "The paint is still slightly wet. Whoever did this worked through the night."

A small, elderly woman with silver hair appeared from behind the east tower, pushing a wooden cart filled with colorful paint cans. She wore a paint-splattered apron over her purple dress.

"Excuse me," Creator called out to her. "Did you see anyone painting here?"

The woman smiled mysteriously. "I only deliver supplies, young artist. What people do with them afterward..." She shrugged and continued pushing her cart toward the fortress gates.

Creator watched her go, questions spinning in his mind.
