An Unexpected Guest

Ms Crayon Llama adjusted her light blue mask as she stepped through the towering stone gates of Camelot. The ancient castle stretched before her, its banners fluttering in the morning breeze. Knights in silver armor nodded respectfully as she passed.

"Welcome to Camelot!" called Sir Gareth, a young knight with bright green eyes and sandy brown hair. He wore polished chainmail that clinked softly with each step. "King Arthur is expecting you in the throne room."

"Thank you," Ms Crayon Llama replied, her giant light blue crayon glowing faintly at her side. She had been invited to demonstrate her creativity powers for the court.

They walked through corridors lined with tapestries depicting legendary battles. Servants hurried past carrying silver trays and fresh flowers. The castle buzzed with preparation for some important event.

"Big day today," Sir Gareth mentioned casually. "The coronation ceremony is this afternoon."

Ms Crayon Llama's brown eyes sparkled with interest. She loved celebrations almost as much as she loved solving puzzles.

The Disappearing Crown

They reached the throne room just as commotion erupted. A woman with short brown hair rushed toward them, her face pale with worry.

"Sir Gareth! The crown is gone!" she exclaimed, wringing her hands. "I'm Clara, the royal seamstress. I was adjusting the velvet cushion for the ceremony when I turned around and—nothing!"

Ms Crayon Llama's brown eyes widened. She activated her x-ray vision, scanning the ornate room with its golden columns and tapestries. The throne sat empty, its cushion disturbed.

"When did you last see it?" she asked Clara.

"Ten minutes ago! I stepped out to fetch new thread, and when I returned..." Clara's voice cracked.

Sir Gareth's armor clinked as he paced. "The coronation is in three hours. Without the crown, there can be no ceremony."

A small hummingbird suddenly zipped through an open window, hovering near Ms Crayon Llama's ear. Its tiny voice chirped urgently.

"Wait," Ms Crayon Llama said, listening carefully. "This little friend saw someone near the treasury earlier. Someone wearing a dark cloak."

Clara gasped. "A thief in Camelot!"

The hummingbird darted toward a corridor, then back, as if beckoning them to follow.
