Morning Patrol

Atomic Crayon Lioness stretched her powerful arms as the morning sun painted Alpha Zoo City in golden light. Her teal cape fluttered behind her as she soared above the bustling streets from her home base, the magnificent Atomic Crayon Tower.

The tower stood like a giant crayon in the city's heart, its smooth sides decorated with swirling atomic symbols that sparkled in the dawn. From her perch on the observation deck, she could see everything—the colorful market stalls, the cheerful families walking to school, and the vibrant murals that decorated every building.

"Another beautiful day in the most colorful city in the world," she said to herself, her amber eyes scanning the horizon through her blue mask.

But something felt different this morning. The air seemed... less bright somehow. She shook her golden-tan head, dismissing the odd feeling.

Her phone buzzed with the daily news alert. Everything looked normal on the screen, yet that strange sensation lingered as she prepared to begin her morning patrol of the city.

The Vanishing Display

As Atomic Crayon Lioness swooped down from the tower, her sharp amber eyes caught something alarming. Mrs. Henderson, the koala shopkeeper, stood frozen outside her art supply store, staring at her window display in shock.

"My blue paints!" Mrs. Henderson cried, her small paws pressed against the glass. "They're completely colorless!"

Atomic Crayon Lioness landed gracefully beside her. The koala's gray fur trembled as she pointed at rows of paint tubes that should have been brilliant blue but now appeared clear as water.

"When did this happen?" the lioness asked, examining the strange sight through her blue mask.

"Just minutes ago! I was arranging my display when the color simply... drained away!" Mrs. Henderson's voice cracked with worry. "What if it spreads to other colors?"

Before the lioness could respond, her phone buzzed frantically. Emergency alerts flooded the screen—reports streaming in from across Alpha Zoo City. Blue traffic lights had turned clear. The beautiful blue murals on Sunrise Street had faded to blank walls. Even the city's famous blue fountain had become transparent.

"This isn't just your store," the lioness said grimly, her teal cape whipping in the wind. "Something is stealing all the blue from our city."
