Pink Scissors and Morning Mist

Yuki adjusted her pink scissors in her apron pocket and stepped into Nakaibito Hair Haven. The morning sunlight streamed through the windows, casting rainbow reflections off the magical mirrors lining the walls. Her pink curls bounced as she walked across the polished floor.

"Good morning, beautiful salon!" she called out cheerfully, her blue eyes sparkling. The enchanted combs hummed softly in response from their crystal stands.

Maki emerged from the back room, her green hair tied in a neat bun. "Yuki, we have a problem today. Five boys are supposed to come in for haircuts, but..."

"But what?" Yuki asked, spinning around in her pink heels.

"They've been avoiding haircuts for months. Their hair is so long and greasy now. The parents are furious, but the boys just won't come near scissors."

Yuko poked her head out from behind a styling chair, her purple hair gleaming. "They're terrified. Something happened to make them scared of all our tools."

Yuki frowned, touching her pink clippers thoughtfully.

The Unexpected Visitors

Just then, the salon's front door burst open with a loud bang. Five boys stumbled inside, their long hair hanging like curtains over their faces. The tallest one, Ren, had black hair that reached his shoulders. Behind him shuffled Riku, Haruto, Kenji, and Hiroto, all looking like they hadn't seen a brush in months.

"We're here for our appointments," Ren mumbled, not looking up. His voice shook slightly.

Yuki's eyes widened. She had expected them to avoid coming entirely. "Oh! You actually came!"

Maki stepped forward with her green hair gleaming. "Boys, we're so glad you decided to—"

"We didn't decide anything!" Haruto interrupted, his greasy brown bangs swaying as he shook his head. "Our parents made us. They said we look like girls and threatened to ground us forever."

The boys huddled together near the door like scared animals. Yuki noticed how they all kept their eyes hidden behind their long, unwashed hair.

"Don't worry," Yuko called cheerfully from her station, holding up her purple-handled scissors. "We'll have you looking fantastic in no time!"

All five boys immediately stepped backward toward the door.
