Pink Scissors and Morning Mist
The morning sun painted Nakaibito village in soft golden light. Yuki adjusted her pink scissors earrings and checked her reflection in the salon window. Her elaborate pink curls bounced as she nodded with satisfaction.
"Another beautiful day for magical hairdressing!" she announced, twirling in her pink dress. Her matching heels clicked against the cobblestone path.
Inside the salon, her best friends Maki and Yuko were already preparing their stations. Maki's green hair sparkled as she organized her combs, while Yuko's blue braids swayed as she polished her scissors.
"Did you see those boys yesterday?" Maki whispered, pointing toward the village square. "Their hair is so long and messy."
Yuki peered outside. Five boys sat huddled together, their shaggy hair covering most of their faces. Villagers walking by squinted at them, clearly confused about whether they were looking at boys or girls.
"Oh my," Yuki gasped, her purple eyes widening. "That hair is a disaster!"
The boys noticed her staring and quickly scattered in different directions, leaving only dust clouds behind.
The Desperate Arrival
"We have to do something about those boys," Yuki declared, tapping her pink nails on the salon counter. "Their parents will be here any minute."
Maki looked up from her station. "What do you mean their parents will be here?"
"I saw Mrs. Tanaka marching down the street with a determined look," Yuki explained. "She was dragging something behind her."
The salon door burst open. Five angry mothers stormed inside, each pulling a kicking, screaming boy by his long, shaggy hair.
"Please help us!" Mrs. Tanaka pleaded. "People keep mistaking my Ren for a girl! His hair is so long and greasy, I can't take it anymore!"
The other mothers nodded frantically. "Same with Riku!" "And Haruto!" "Kenji won't let us near him with scissors!" "Hiroto hides whenever he sees clippers!"
The five boys cowered in the corner, their faces barely visible through their tangled locks. Ren whimpered, "No scissors! They're scary!"
Yuki exchanged worried glances with her friends. These boys were absolutely terrified.
