The Snip Squad's Sticky Situation

Pink Scissors and Purple Dreams
Yuki adjusted her scissor hairpins and checked her reflection in the salon window. The pink curls bounced perfectly as she moved her head.
"Another busy day at the Snip Squad salon!" she said, admiring her purple eyes in the glass. Her pink dress swished as she turned toward the door.
Maki brushed her brown hair back while organizing the styling tools. "Did you hear about those boys from school?"
"Which boys?" Yuko asked, polishing a pair of silver scissors.
"The ones with the really long hair. Ren, Riku, Haruto, Kenji, and Hiroto. People keep mistaking them for girls because their hair is so messy and long."
Yuki's scissors earrings jingled as she nodded. "Their parents must be frustrated."
"I heard they refuse to get haircuts," Maki continued. "Something about bad experiences."
Yuko frowned. "But their hair looks terrible! It's so greasy and tangled."
Through the window, Yuki spotted five boys walking past. Their shaggy hair covered their faces completely.
The Cookie Lady's Surprise
Just then, the salon door burst open. Five angry parents stormed in, dragging their sons behind them.
"Please help us!" Mrs. Tanaka pleaded, holding Ren's arm firmly. "We can't take this anymore!"
The boys tried to pull away, their long hair whipping around their faces. Haruto kicked at the air while Kenji covered his eyes with his hands.
"No scissors!" Hiroto shouted. "I don't want a haircut!"
Yuki stepped forward, her scissor earrings jingling. "What seems to be the problem?"
"These bullies at school keep chasing them with scissors," Mr. Yamada explained, gripping Riku's shoulder. "Three boys named Daiki, Sota, and their leader Ryusei. They think it's funny to threaten cutting their hair."
"So now they're terrified of any hair tools," added Mrs. Sato.
Just then, an elderly woman with a kind face peeked through the window. She wore a colorful apron and carried a small basket of cookies.
"I heard shouting," she said gently. "I'm Mrs. Hibiki. I run the bakery next door."
The five boys immediately stopped struggling and stared at her warm smile.
"Would anyone like a cookie while we talk?" she offered.
