Storm Clouds Gather

Creator Buck stood on the highest balcony of the Cervine Creative Fortress, watching dark clouds roll across Super City's skyline. His light blue cape fluttered in the rising wind as lightning flickered between the towering buildings below.

"Sir, the weather station reports an unusual electromagnetic storm approaching," called Agent Maple, a young humanoid deer with silver fur, rushing onto the balcony with a tablet in her hands.

Buck adjusted his black sunglass goggles and used his power sensing ability. Something felt different about this storm—electric energy crackled strangely in the air, making his antlers tingle.

"Cancel tonight's patrol," he decided, turning toward the fortress entrance. "The Cervine Creative Force should stay inside until this passes."

Thunder rumbled overhead as the first heavy raindrops began to fall. Buck paused at the doorway, looking back at the swirling clouds. His creative imagination sparked with an odd feeling of unease.

The Great Switching

Inside the fortress, Buck hurried down the spiral staircase to the main control room. Agent Maple followed close behind, her hooves clicking on the metal steps.

"Sir, look at this!" Maple pointed to her tablet screen. Strange energy readings spiked across the display in jagged lines.

Buck studied the data. The electromagnetic pulses were unlike anything he'd seen before. His power sensing ability buzzed with alarm.

Suddenly, a brilliant flash of lightning struck all three towers simultaneously. The fortress shook violently. Every computer screen flickered and went dark for a moment.

"What was that?" Maple gasped, steadying herself against the wall.

Buck felt a strange tingling sensation throughout his body. He tried to use his telekinesis to lift a fallen clipboard, but nothing happened. He attempted flight—his feet remained firmly on the ground.

"My powers..." he whispered, touching his antlers in confusion.

Outside, they heard shouting from the streets below. Through the blue-tinted windows, Buck saw something impossible. A delivery drone was performing perfect loop-de-loops in the stormy sky, piloted by what appeared to be an elderly woman with gray hair waving from the driver's seat of a hovering mail truck.
