The Backwards Door

Pinkie Pie bounced through her bakery, frosting cupcakes for tomorrow's party. "Perfect!" she giggled, adding rainbow sprinkles.

A shimmery door appeared behind her mixing bowls. It looked like it was made of swirling birthday candles.

"Oh my!" Pinkie gasped. "That wasn't there before!"

Through the door's glowing surface, she heard backwards singing and upside-down laughter echoing strangely.

The Backwards Welcome

Pinkie Pie peeked through the shimmery door. Inside, a friendly white ghost floated upside-down, wearing a party hat backwards.

"Welcome to my time-twisted party room!" said Casper the ghost cheerfully. "But oh dear, everything's happening backwards here!"

Pinkie looked around. Balloons were deflating into nothing, cake candles were growing taller instead of burning down, and presents were unwrapping themselves back into plain boxes.

"The birthday song goes 'Happy Birthday to... wait, who?' because guests leave before saying their names!" Casper giggled sadly. "Can you help me fix this mixed-up mess?"
